Jacqueline Harvey ~ renowned author of the Alice-Miranda series of books (and wonderful aunt of Darcy) visited us recently. jacquie took us an adventure through her own chidlhood and throught he live sof some of her characters. Everyone was thrilled to share some time with her and last we heard, Jacquie was headed for the USA on anotehr book tour!

Our Cross Country Carnival was held on Friday morning, March 23 at Wiseman's Oval and everyone had a great time. Some fundraising for 'Williams' Walk' took place and rasied around $800 for chidlren with juvenile arthritis ~ a cause close to the hearts of some of one our own famiies in particular.

On Wednesday our Yr 3 & 4 students went down to Sule College in Shellharbour for a day of fun and cultural activities to celebrate Harmony Day. The theme for Harmony Day was sport ~ PLAY, ENGAGE, INSPIRE and recognises the important role and positive influence that sport has in our multicultural nation. We would like to thank Sule College for their wonderful generosity in hosting us for a fantastic day! We look forward to hosting them next year.

On Sunday, February 19 the Year One parents along with our school P&F organised a wonderful afternoon of fun, food, music and friendship and must be congratulated on a magnificent day! Treasure hunts, raffles, guessing competitions and conversation was enjoyed by all.

At 10.20am on Friday, May 11 we will be having a Mothers' Day Liturgy for all of our wonderful mothers! This will be followed by a morning tea. If you can come along please do so - and please invite grandmothers as well! It will be a chance for our students to show you all how very grateful they are for all you do for them.
